Valerie Jardin is a street photographer from France living in Minnesota.  She, like many others I mention on here, lives the photographer's dream.  While she makes money from her prints, I would think it is fair to say she probably makes the lion's share of her income from her workshops in France, the United States, and Australia.  Here is a great example of her work:
