For those who are not familiar with street photography, it’s all about the gesture, the expression that tells a story. The moment will usually only last one frame, a fraction of a second. The success of the photograph will depend on the viewer’s reaction to it, not so much the technical merit of the shot. It’s about the ability to anticipate and see the story.

There are good photographers everywhere, but the real creatives are a rarity.  Terry Border is one of those real creatives.  The thing is, his work is so simple, but yet it is totally amusing in a "The Far Side" kind of way.  This is just one of the great examples:

His Circus Peanut gallery is quite amazing too.  I hate to have to give this warning, especially with such good work, but not all his photos are kid-friendly, so keep that in mind as you peruse his gallery.
